Practical Pointer: To know how to pray is by doing it – by praying. Prayer is simply a conversation – God talks to us and we listen, we talk to Him and He listens to us too. Just pray and you will not only learn to pray, you will also love to pray.
Catholic Faith On Marriage
Matrimony is SACRED. It is God’s design and gift to humanity. Matrimonial love is a reflection of God’s love. Hence, Marriage love and covenant is unchanging and irrevocable. Click for more:
When Planning Marriage Consider these points:
1. Talk to a priest/pastor/parish priest.
2. The least is SIX months for preparation process. So, better do not fix your wedding date without consulting your parish/priest. There may be no wedding without completing all requirements.
3. Submit required documents.
4. Attend Pre-Cana or Marriage Preparation Class/Seminar.
5. Couples should better be ones to coordinate with your parish and with your priest. Oftentimes when entrusted to someone else odd or challenging situations happen.
These tips may not answer all your queries, but these could be where you can start your plans.
For whatever reasons that may come to some couples, separations/break ups do happen. And so annulment process takes place. But we pray and hope this may never happen to anyone. Yet, our faith has some teachings about this matter. Check on the link below:
Sacrament of Holy Orders and Vocation to the Priesthood
Do you feel being called by God to serve Him in His Church? Or Would you consider offering your life to Him? Here are some pointers:
1. Dedicate time to pray about your possible vocation to the priesthood.
2. Talk to your pastor/priest. He will be able to guide you how you will pursue God’s call for you.

Please Pray for all who are in the Ordained Ministry. Pray for the priest you know and beyond. They pass through many things, some encouraging others discouraging. Many are supportive of them, many are not, please be counted among the former.
God loves us all. He cares for our integral wellbeing. Salvation is for the integral person, body and soul. Our Lord Jesus Christ instituted the sacrament of the sick by healing whoever has infirmities. Let us approach this Sacrament without waiting until the last moment. This sacrament can be received whenever we get sick, or vulnerable elderly person, or going for a surgery. For more watch the video and read the Catechism:
Sacrament of the Penance and Reconciliation: God's Mercy is upon us
There is no limit to God’s love and mercy for us. No sin is greater than His merciful love. St. Paul asks: “… What can separate us from the love of Christ? (Rom. 8:35)” Let us not be deceived by the evil one! Yes, we may feel ashamed of our sins, but let us humble ourselves, like that prodigal son who came to his senses and decided saying: “…I shall get up and go to my father and I shall say to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I no longer deserve to be called your son; treat me as you would treat one of your hired workers (Lk 15:17-19.)’ God is waiting for our return. He is excited when he sees us going to Him. The Lord Jesus’ blood has power to blot away whatever sins we have. This is God’s assurance: “…though your sins be like scarlet, they may become white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they may become white as wool (Is. 1:18).” Have devotion to this Sacrament of God’s Mercy. Practice daily examination of conscience so that you can go regularly to confession.
Urge oneself to learn more about this wonderful sacrament. No saint, even those of the highest levels of spiritual life, has distanced himself/herself from it. If the saints believed on the power of this sacrament, should we not?

Our Faith About The Blessed Virgin Mary
The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Heaven Mother, has a very special place in our lives as Christians. Our Lord Jesus on the Cross entrusted Her to us, in as much as, He also entrusted us to Her. We cannot take for granted Her role in God’s work of salvation. Moreover, we cannot undermine Her as our model of love for God, of righteous and virtuous living, and of being a faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ: She is Queen of All Virtues and truly Holy Mary. We owe Her, from generation to generation of human history, due honor, respect, and veneration. Honoring Her is honoring God who wants and wills that She be honored and loved. As you go through the teachings of the our Christian Faith presented here about Our Blessed Mother Mary, may you grow in your personal devotion and love for Her:

Being a well known speaker-apologist, former Pentecostal Pastor, theologian, and himself a devotee of the Blessed Mother, his presentation is easily understandable.

Lector And Eucharistic Ministries
Among the ways the lay faithful participates in the liturgical life of the Church and in relation to Her pastoral concerns are through the ministries of the Word and the Holy Communion. The ministers of the Word of God, we call LECTORS. The ministers of Holy Communion, we call Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist or of Holy Communion. In this latter, we say, “extraordinary ministers,” because the Ordinary Ministers are the Ordained – those who received the Sacrament of Holy Orders. We place a section for these ministries as a help and reference for those who are in these ministries and for those who are considering to serve in them.
Ministry of the Word of God: LECTORS
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Heb. 4:12).”
Some Advice:
1. Remember being a Lector is a responsibility toward the Word of God and to the Church.
2. Practice the Reading before the Mass. Your are reading, or better proclaiming, the Word of God.
3. Proclaim the Word of God articulately and audibly.
4. Appear formal. Avoid anything that may distract the people. Their focus should be on the message of what you read, not on you.
5. The Word of God is prayer in itself. Pray as you read, that you may be transformed into what you read.
Ministry of Eucharist: Extraordinary Ministers
“The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? (1 Cor. 10:16)”
Some Advice:
1. Remember being an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Communion, you have the responsibility toward the Sacred Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is REALLY present.
2. Prepare oneself before the Mass. Spend some prayer time to dispose your whole being to serve Him.
3. Follow the instructions that you were told during your formation, or whatever in that moment the priest or the Main Celebrant may tell you.
4. Dress appropriately or formally. Avoid anything that may distract people’s attention.
5. As you are privileged to be Christ’s bearer to the people, know that your daily life is also to bring Him to others around you through the way you live and behave.
We Believe In One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church
Our life of faith is born, grows, nurtured, and thrives with a community. We do not journey in faith, love, and service of God alone. We believe in “Communion of the Saints.” We believe as members of the Mystical Body of Christ. The Church is important to us. We are responsible to our own faith’s journey, but we have the duty to care for others journey of faith and love of God by being good example to each other. Let us cultivate our love and service of the Mother Church and see it as our love and service of God as well.
